A reader is a piece of custom software we build just for you. It reads your files, pulls out the data, and puts it into Xero exactly the way you need it. It can do things like add markup, deduct commission fees, split amounts into multiple line items, or apply any other business rules specific to your workflow.

As many as you want — there's no limit on our end. The only cap is Xero's own limit of 5,000 records per day per organization, which applies to all Xero integrations.

You tell us how you want the data from your files to appear in Xero — we may come back with a few questions to make sure we get it right. Then we build your custom reader that implements all your requirements. Once it's ready, you test it yourself to confirm everything looks good in Xero before going live.

Most readers are ready within 2-3 business days, depending on how complex your files and requirements are and how quickly we can sort out all the details of your requirements together. You test it in your own Xero account first, and we keep refining until you're happy with the results.
