A reader is a piece of custom software we build just for you. It reads your files, pulls out the data, and puts it into Xero exactly the way you need it. It can do things like add markup, deduct commission fees, split amounts into multiple line items, or apply any other business rules specific to your workflow.

As many as you want — there's no limit on our end. The only cap is Xero's own limit of 5,000 records per day per organization, which applies to all Xero integrations.

Right away. The moment your file arrives at your @entryrocket.com address, processing starts automatically. Your data shows up in Xero within minutes.

Most readers are ready within 2-3 business days, depending on how complex your files and requirements are and how quickly we can sort out all the details of your requirements together. You test it in your own Xero account first, and we keep refining until you're happy with the results.

One per file format. If you get reports from two different systems with different layouts, that's two readers. But if it's the same file format every time, one reader is all you need.

CSV, Excel, PDF, XML, JSON, TXT, IIF, YAML — if your system can export it, we can almost certainly work with it. Not sure about your format? Just send us a sample file and we'll let you know.

Invoices, bills, purchase orders, quotes, manual journals, credit notes, bank transactions, and inventory items. We can also record payments against existing or newly created invoices and bills.

Most people are up and running within 2-3 business days. More complex readers can take a bit longer.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and more), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. All payments are processed securely by Paddle, our merchant of record.
