Xero's native import is CSV-only and template-strict
Xero's native import is CSV-only for most document types, and even CSV has to match Xero's exact template. If your data arrives as a PDF statement, an Excel report, an XML feed, or a JSON export, you have two native options: reformat by hand, or skip Xero's import and key the data in directly.
